Fees for cosmetic surgery procedures are typically not covered by medical insurance. Some “cosmetic” procdures may be covered by insurance if certain criteria are met. Most reconstructive procedures are covered by insurance provided that proper documentation and precertification are obtained. Dr. Greenwald’s staff will assist you with these matters.
Costs for cosmetic procedures vary depending on the type of surgery and time needed to perform the surgery. At the time of your consultation, a fee quote will be provided, and will include a charge for surgery, the anesthesia, and the operating facility. Financing is available and, if desired, our patient care coordinators will discuss various payment options with you.
Dr. Greenwald is an experienced cosmetic surgeon in New York City who has performed New York breast augmentation, face lift, rhinoplasty, abdominoplasty and liposuction surgery on many satisfied patients.
Dr. Greenwald is happy to offer SmartLipo to his New York and Connecticut patients. SmartLipo also known as laser body sculpting is a less invasive alternative to traditional liposuction and was approved by the FDA in November, 2006. Compared with traditional liposuction, there is a marked decrease in swelling and bruising. Recovery from SmartLipo is much more rapid when compared with traditional liposuction. SmartLipo is ideal for small areas of fat on the face and body that have been resistant to diet and exercise. SmartLipo can be performed under local anesthesia.
