SmartLipo also known as laser body sculpting is a less invasive alternative to traditional liposuction and was approved by the FDA in November, 2006. Compared with traditional liposuction, there is a marked decrease in swelling and bruising. Recovery from SmartLipo is much more rapid when compared with traditional liposuction.
