The Plastic Surgery Center of Westchester (PSCW) is located adjacent to our cosmetic surgery clinical offices. The PSCW is a brand new, state-of-the-art facility that opened its doors in the spring of 2011. Dr. Greenwald, along with a team of consultants specializing in the design of ambulatory surgical centers, designed the center with your safety, privacy and comfort in mind. The PSCW is a clinical affiliate of the White Plains Hospital Center. The PSCW is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and licensed by the New York Department of Health. With four operating rooms and a 12-bed recovery room, the PSCW is able to safely and efficiently care for patients of Dr. Greenwald's cosmetic surgery practice.
Anesthesia and Staff: Your safety is our top priority
Anesthesia is provided only by board-certified anesthesiologists affiliated with the White Plains Hospital Center. All care at PSCW is provided by our highly trained staff of registered nurses. Our facility meets and often exceeds the same standards for patient care as those required in a hospital outpatient surgery unit.
Location
Our facility is conveniently located 20 miles north of Manhattan. You are welcome to take a tour of our facility at the time of your consultation. For those patients whose special circumstances require a hospital stay, Dr. Greenwald has operating privileges at several hospitals in the area. Our office can make all necessary arrangements for your admission and hospital care.
At his state-of-the-art plastic surgery New York City facility, Dr. Greenwald has helped numerous patients by providing an array of aesthetic procedures for the face, breast and body, including treating breast augmentation, face lift, rhinoplasty, liposuction and tummy tuck Westchester patients.
Dr. Greenwald is happy to offer SmartLipo to his New York and Connecticut patients. SmartLipo also known as laser body sculpting is a less invasive alternative to traditional liposuction and was approved by the FDA in November, 2006. Compared with traditional liposuction, there is a marked decrease in swelling and bruising. Recovery from SmartLipo is much more rapid when compared with traditional liposuction. SmartLipo is ideal for small areas of fat on the face and body that have been resistant to diet and exercise. SmartLipo can be performed under local anesthesia.
