Virtual Consultation
Many of our out of town patients schedule a virtual cosmetic surgery consultation with Dr. Greenwald to discuss their options for facial, breast and body enhancement procedures. A virtual consultation may involve simply email communications between you and Dr. Greenwald, video conferencing or phone conversations.
Before an email or web consultation, you will need to provide photographs (see below) that will be viewed by Dr. Greenwald. Please be assured that your photographs are highly confidential and will become part of your private medical record. Following the virtual consultation, you will be able to schedule a tentative surgery date pending a regular consultation in our office. A regular office consultation is still required prior to your surgery. Many out of town patients schedule their regular consultation 1–2 days prior to their scheduled surgery.
Photo instructions:
- Please take photos in front of a plain background (solid colored wall)
- Photos for breast and body consultations should be taken from below your chin to your knees with hands at your sides. Photos for facial cosmetic surgery consultations should br from the top of the head to the clavicles (ie collarbones).
- A total of 5 photos should be taken: front view, right side view, left side view, left quarter turn view, right quarter turn view

Dr. Greenwald is happy to offer SmartLipo to his New York and Connecticut patients. SmartLipo also known as laser body sculpting is a less invasive alternative to traditional liposuction and was approved by the FDA in November, 2006. Compared with traditional liposuction, there is a marked decrease in swelling and bruising. Recovery from SmartLipo is much more rapid when compared with traditional liposuction. SmartLipo is ideal for small areas of fat on the face and body that have been resistant to diet and exercise. SmartLipo can be performed under local anesthesia.
